Description

"In Abbey Road" is a rare Beatles LP issued in 1983 exclusively for UK Beatles Fan Club members. Only 1,500 individually numbered copies were produced. This limited-edition album was an exclusive souvenir from the special “The Beatles In Abbey Road” show held at Abbey Road Studios (London) from July 18 to September 11, 1983. The LP contains fourteen Beatles outtakes and studio tracks recorded between 1963 and 1969 – all of which were previously unreleased at the time

The record has plain white labels with no text, underscoring its private fan-club-only nature. The back cover text confirms the fan club issue, featuring the Abbey Road “NW8” street sign logo and listing each track with its original recording session (from *Please Please Me* 1963 sessions up through *Abbey Road* 1969). Songs include early takes and alternate versions of classics like “I Saw Her Standing There,” “One After 909,” “Don’t Bother Me,” “Leave My Kitten Alone,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” “Because,” and others – a fascinating preview of material that would later appear on the *Anthology* series.

**Condition:** Vinyl is in excellent shape with only light signs of play. No skips, no warping – it plays through cleanly. The sleeve is glossy and well-preserved, showing only minor edge and corner wear from shelving. All seams and the spine are intact with no splits or tears. The back cover printing is clear (includes the Abbey Road Studios info and track details). Overall, this is a very nice collector’s copy of a truly hard-to-find Beatles fan club album.
