The Beatles In Mono returns for the first time in 10 years, available in a deluxe 14 LP boxed edition with 180-gram vinyl records and a beautifully crafted hardbound book.

This collection presents The Beatles exactly as most listeners first experienced them in the 1960s, when mono was the primary audio format. Up until 1968, every Beatles album was mixed in both mono and stereo, but the group always considered the mono versions definitive. For this release, the acclaimed mono albums were remastered in 2014 at Abbey Road Studios from the original quarter-inch master tapes. GRAMMY®-winning engineer Sean Magee and GRAMMY®-winning mastering supervisor Steve Berkowitz oversaw the process with an audiophile mindset, cutting the records entirely in analog without the use of digital technology.

Working in the same Abbey Road mastering room where the band’s original albums were cut, the engineers carefully compared the master tapes with first pressings from the 1960s, using a Studer A80 tape machine and cutting the new vinyl on a VMS80 lathe. Manufactured in Germany by Optimal Media, the albums faithfully preserve the original sound and presentation.

The collection also includes an exclusive 12" x 12" hardbound book featuring new essays, a detailed account of the mastering process by award-winning author Kevin Howlett, rare studio photographs of The Beatles, and archival materials such as documents, advertisements, and articles from the 1960s.

This limited edition box set is a must-have for audiophiles and Beatles collectors alike, offering the definitive way to experience the band’s legendary catalog in the format they intended.
