The Beatles - Introducing The Beatles on Vee Jay VJLP 1062 Mono. The LP cover is in VG condition. (has a 4" seam split on the bottom seam starting at the opening. The LP is in VG+ condition. This album is an authentic pressing and is not a counterfeit. This album is also the very rare first state version with the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You." It has the oval label with the rarer offset non-column song titles. Authentic original copies of this album are very rare indeed because most copies are fakes. According to the best internet website devoted to authenticating this particular Beatles album this LP checks out completely and is authentic. The website is rarebeatles.com. According to the website this particular copy is a VJ 1062 (1) MC3 version album cover and a VJ 1062 (1) MR1A version LP. Here are the exact details of the stamping and etching in the dead wax of both album sides. Side 1 - the trail-off dead wax measures just a hair under 1" in length, the word "Audio Matrix" is machine stamped, the letters "?RP" are also machine stamped, the numbers "3402" are hand etched, the numbers 63 - 3402 are also hand etched, the letter "A" is hand etched, and the numbers "6 - 29 - 63" are also hand etched. Side 2 - the trail-off dead wax measures 7/8" in length, the words "Audio Matrix" are machine stamped, the letters "?P" are also machine stamped, the letter "A" (?) is hand etched, and the numbers "63 - 3403" are also hand etched. The album also includes a Vee Jay inner sleeve and it is in VG to VG+ condition. This is an authentic Introducing The Beatles LP and it is the very rare first pressing and first version and includes the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You." Both of these songs were removed and later replaced with the songs "Please, Please Me" and "Ask Me Why" on later Vee Jay pressings of this album. This is a very nice authentic first pressing copy of this very rare Beatles album. It was the very first Beatles album released in the USA in 1963 !!
