Description

The Beatles "Introducing The Beatles"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Vee Jay 1062 from 1964.   This is the Mono second pressing with Version two songs.   The labels are black, with color band and Vee Jay in brackets.

The front cover has George's shadow on the right.    The spine has the title, artist and record number printed on it.    The inside cover has the 1/4 inch folded inner flaps.    The back cover lists the correct songs in two columns.

The record has black labels with color band with all the correct colors.   'The Beatles' and 'Introducing The Beatles' is above the center hole.     There is a 7/8 inch gap between the last song and the labels.

So, this is a real record in a real cover.     I believe its a Monarch pressing.   It would be MR2B in the Bruce Spizer book.

The matrix numbers are : Side One :  MR in circle, 63-3402    A 6307  and Side two :  MR in circle 63-3403  A 6307X.

The songs are : I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna, Chains, Boys, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret, A Taste Of Honey, There's A Place, and Twist And Shout.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG

The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits.   There is light partial ring wear and seam wear at top left and bottom center.     There is corner wear.     The vinyl looks VG and it plays VG+.    The labels are clean with slight spindle marks.  The record comes in a VJ inner sleeve.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.

Serious Bidders Only :

Serious bidders only.    If you bid you must be prepared to honor your bid.     I expect payment within three days, but will wait up to seven days, if you contact me.      I no longer accept bids from buyers with more than two strikes against them.
