Original very rare Stereo copy Version 2 of The Beatles “Introducing the Beatles” released on February 10, 1964. 

Up for an auction here is one of the rarest of the Stereo covers. Both the “Stereophonic” and the “SR 1062” are embossed into the top right corner. The presence of the identifier of Imperial Paper Box Corp. in the form of the “2” number in the lower right-hand corner of the back cover makes it even rarer. No less rarer nowadays is the original Vee-Jay Records "Other Significant Albums of Interest on Vee-Jay Records" inner sleeve, coming with this copy, with a white background containing 25 color photos of other Vee-Jay album releases on each side with one of the sides fully corresponding to the “Ad Back” cover. Original true 1st print black Vee-Jay Stereo labels with a multi-color band, “Stereo” banner at 12 o’clock, the vinyl contains the ”S 63-3402” and “S 63-3403” catalog numbers which start with an “S” prefix and end with an “1” suffix. The “S” prefix and “1” suffix present in the runout groove of both sides in the runout groove is an absolute guarantee of this Stereo copy’s authenticity. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 - S 63-3402-1 URJ & Side 2 - S 63-3403-1 URJ

The cover is graded as Very Good- It’s got some wear as shown in the pics but the embossed lettering is clearly visible..the spine has some “purfling”, but the cover is solid with no actual splits.. I grade the vinyl as Very Good as it contains numerous scuffs & hairlines but nothing deep like an actual scratch..the original VeeJay inner sleeve which is in Very Good Plus condition. The glossy labels are in great shape with light wear wear- and having relatively few spindle marks and no extra writing anywhere.. The vinyl sounds well throughout with some light static just during the very quiet parts..The recording quality is excellent, and the the songs ring out very clear..The vinyl has been given a basic cleaning most likely sound even better if the record id professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
