MINT MINUS RECORD LABELS, MINT VINYL DISC, '1U' MATRICES, COMPLETE WITH PRINTED INNER BAG, POST CARD, LARGE POSTER, AND GLOSSY FULL LAMINATED PICTURE SLEEVE.
Album Description:
This UK ORIGINAL First Issue of John Lennon's ICONIC Album 'Imagine' was released by Apple Records UK on 8th October 1971.
The Vinyl LP is on the Custom Apple picture label, with 'Mfd in UK' label text and comes in its Original First Issue Laminated Picture Sleeve, together with an Original double sided printed Lyric Inner Bag, An Original Postcard sized Photograph, and an Original Large 33” x 22” Poster with John Lennon sitting at the famous White Piano.
Both sides of the record labels are in UNDAMAGED Mint Minus condition, with just a couple of light barely visible centre spindle lines.
Official Matrix and stamper information:
Side 1 matrix: YEX 865-1U/Side 2 matrix YEX 866-1U.
Side 1 stampers: 2 LM, Side 2 stampers:3 LT. Correctly etched on the side 1 trail out groove is the word 'PORKY', and on side 2 etched into the run out groove is the word 'PECKO'.
Both sides of the Heavyweight Vinyl disc are in superb Mint Minus condition - the Vinyl has been very well cared for and has no scratches or scuffs, with just a couple of faint surface hairlines
The Original UK Issue fully laminated Picture Sleeve is in Excellent condition, a FIRM, GLOSSY sleeve, with just light record indentation, and a few light manufacturing laminate pinches, the spine edge clearly reads 'Imagine', 'John Lennon' 'Apple' 'PAS 10004'.
The Postcard is in Mint Minus condition, the machine folded Poster is in Mint Minus, No pinholes, tearing or splitting to the seams. The correct Printed Made in Great Britain inner record bag is in undamamged Excellent Plus condition with no seam splits, just mild age toning.
