The Beatles - Kum Back
Unofficial US vinyl release from 1969
We bought this a couple of years ago from a client who gave us a little background on how he originally aquired this record. His friends in the US sent him this over in October 1969
A acetate copy was broadcast on the radio in the US and either the acetate was bootlegged or the broadcast was.
My customers friends did their best at naming the tracks by typing them up on a bespoke inner sleeve. It's a nice bit of history.
The vinyl itself is in Very Good condition and sounds fine. There are some surface marks but nothing that affects play. the actual recorded quality is great. There is some background tape hiss from the original recording or transfer.
This version of Don’t Let Me Down sounds amazing
It comes in an open sleeve with KUM Back stamped in black.
The inner sleeve is bespoke and hand type with a guessed track listing. Pretty cool.
