PCS 7096 'RED APPLE' -2U/-2U Rare, VG
The first press UK LP in Red Apple sleeve. This is the last studio album released by the Beatles on market, but it was recorded in the London's studio, of the same name, before issued the 1969 album "Abby Road. First label variation with “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and small “33 1/3” printed with small copyright symbol (p). Full laminated covers with a Red Apple logo on the back side. Vinyl Record has -2U matrices, similar to the box set copy. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 773-2U; Side 2: YEX 774-2U.

Condition:
Vinyl (VG+): Very good condition. The vinyl has a perfect glossy sheen. This is a used vinyl record, visually with only fine cosmetic lines on the surface and light surface blemishes/scratches that are not felt to the touch. These are barely noticeable or noticeable in light and do not affect the sound or playback quality in any way. I have tried and listened to both sides of this album and the sound quality is pretty good for a 55 year old vinyl record, with only some occasional little more loud clicks and light pops/noises in quieter passages and between songs, but NO loud pops, NO sticking, NO repeats, NO skipping or skipping. The album sits flat on the turntable, with no distortion. Please note, that this is a used but well preserved record with a red apple on the back cover, which is hard and rare to find. This is a used vinyl record that is 55 years old.
Labels (EX-): Near Excellent condition. This label has the credit "An E.M.I. Recording" in parentheses and the chubby "Sans Serif" printing type, small 33 1/3. There are also a lot of number of light spindle marks around the center holes both sides which lead me to believe, that this album has been well played. Label side A has a short scratch, that seen on photo. Аpart from this observation the labels are in perfect condition with no writing, marks or tears.
Album cover (VG): Near Very Good+ condition. This pressing has a both sides fully laminated sleeve single type, full-coated cover, perfect glossy sheen. No inscriptions on the sleeve, some laminate marks and tiny laminate creases at edges to both sides of sleeve. One note is a slight crease on the back side cover at the top. An EMI Recording + Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd.
Spine (VG+): Definitely very good+, fully readable, without other remarks.
Inner sleeve (EX): Excellent condition. Original standard EMI white plain inner sleeve with “PATENT NO 1.125.155.” on the left side and “MADE IN ENGLAND” on the right side. These inner sleeves used in first pressing of “Let It Be” in 1970 also.
Please take a little time to live the pictures which are important part of description and shows the real condition of this vinyl record and cover sleeve.
The LP discs will be posted by tracking registered mail, separately in new paper inner sleeve to protect the original sleeve.
