Item Description & Condition:

’LOVE ME DO/PS I LOVE YOU’ was The Beatles FIRST UK Single, released by Parlophone in 1962, this is the second pressing from 1963 on the newly designed Black & Silver Parlophone Record Labels.

This SECOND PRESSING VINYL 45 is on the Black & Silver Parlophone Label with Silver Printed text, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd....’ label rim in lower case and With ‘Recording First Published 1962’, With ‘Ardmore & Beechwood Ltd’ publishing credits.

Both record Labels are in Very Good Plus condition. There is NO fading to the silver Printed Text, there are several signs of play around the centre spindle holes.

Side 1 matrix: 7XCE 17144-1N and Side 2: 7XCE-17145-1N.
Side 1 stampers: MPZT1 RT. and Side 2: MPZT1 RP.

There is a KJT Tax Code visible on the side 2 record label.

Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in Very Good condition, bright vinyl surfaces, showing several light surface hairline scratches to both sides, none of which affect the play quality. There are NO deep scuffs or deep scratches to either side.

Play Quality:

Both sides play well throughout, without skips, pops or clicks, all that can be heard is only mild background crackle to both sides, the record plays better than it looks.

The Vinyl 45 comes in its ORIGINAL Green Parlophone Company Sleeve, which is in very nice undamagedExcellent condition, Showing just light creasing, there are NO seam splits or tears.
