THE BEATLES: 'LOVE ME DO/PS I LOVE YOU/LOVE ME DO' - 12R 4949 - 1982 UK SPECIAL EDITION 3 TRACK 12" MONO VINYL SINGLE IN PICTURE SLEEVE.

 

  Released by Parlophone UK in 1982 to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Release of the Beatles First 1962 UK Single 'Love Me Do', this official 12" vinyl single is on the traditional Red with Silver Printed Text Parlophone Label (similar style label as the original 1962 version).

  The 12” vinyl disc comes in it’s original picture sleeve.

  The disc contains 3 tracks – two versions of  'Love Me Do', one with Andy White on drums, the other with Ringo Starr on the drums, the 12” vinyl disc also has the original B side 'PS I Love You'. All three tracks are in mono format. 

  The side 1 matrix is: 12R  4949A-1-1-2 and Side 2: 12R 4949B-1-1-3.

  Both sides of the Record Labels are in as new Mint condition, beautiful  bright, undamaged labels with no signs of play.

 

  Both sides of the 12" Vinyl Disc are in immaculate Mint condition, gleaming vinyl, with that just pressed look.

 

  The Picture sleeve is a beautiful example in Excellent Plus to Near Mint condition.  There are no splits to the sleeve, with only minimal record indentation.

 

  This is one of only three Beatles 12" Singles officially released by Parlophone in the UK, the other two being  'Hey Jude' and 'All You Need is Love'.
