Description
This is the "misaligned Apple" on The Beatles' Abbey Road and is the highly collectible 1969 UK first-pressing variant on PCS 7088.
On the rear cover, the green Apple logo is shifted to the left, rather than directly in line with the text.
It features the early matrix numbers (YEX 749-2/750-1) and excludes "Her Majesty" from the sleeve.
Also I recently was asked about the Mother and Stamper numbers, so here they are:
Side 1
9 o'clock = 1
3 o'clock = ML6
Side 2
9'o'clock = 5
3 o'clock = A11T
That's the best I could see.
I bought this brand new, play it a few times, then stored it away for many years in a plastic protective sleeve.
The record still looks in excellent condition.
Will be posted with custom made stiffened flatpack cardboard.
