The Beatles Beatles For Sale mono PMC 1240
Side 1: Side 2:

Labels are clear and clean with minor spindle markings. ‘Sold In U.K. …… ‘text across the centre and ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd…’ rim text. The label wording changed soon after around the rim so we can date this copy to late 1964/very early 1965. The labels also state ‘Recording First Published 1964’ which changed to ? 1964 in Feb 1965.
Both sides show minor surface scratches and play as excellent, bright clear mono audio with just a few clicks here and there. No deep pops, long scratches, skips or sticks.
The EMITEX opaque die cut inner is an excellent example with no rips or tears, just slight fading over the years.
The gatefold cover has survived almost 50 years very well indeed. Usually the fragile spines get crushed and worn on these Beatles For Sale LPs, but this one is still clear with just some corner wear at the top and bottom. There is some laminate creasing and general wear but it’s a very good example. No writing, stickers or other marks.
