About the album:
This record was an exclusive Italian compilation, designed to cash in on the short tour of Italy by the Beatles in June 1965. With a cover picture of the Beatles on stage in Washington in February 1964 and additional photo’s from a recent concert in Milan, the ordinary fan was to believe that this was a live record. But of course, it wasn’t and the LP, also numbered ‘Beatles 5’ on the original rear cover, consisted mainly of previously released studio material.

This pressing is a second release of 1968 on the black & white, boxed Parlophone/EMI label.
