About the album:
The Outer Sleeve:
Remains in its original factory issue format with no writing rips or tears, the corners, sides and spine are all well preserved for its age .It is in very good order, again for its age. Please see photo's
The Inner Sleeve:
Is the original factory pressed paper based insert, there are some aspects of minor creasing and a small split to the centre of one side but nothing spoiling here. It features a selection of photographs of other available albums of the time to both sides. (please see photos)
The Vinyl:
Presents on both sides with a very good glossy sheene.
Side One:
A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions reveals one or two hairline surface marks and visible in length scratches , I have taken close up photographs of the scratches. Importantly though, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of good quality, kindly note though this can very from one turntable to another depending upon stylus quality and condition. As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can sometimes be eradicated. At no time on side one though(again on my equipment)is there any skipping, jumping or sticking notwithstanding the marks I have detailed.
Side Two:
Similarly, a close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of side two also reveals several hairline surface marks and visible lengthy scratches, again, I have tried to illustarate the scracthes with close up photo's. I have also played side two and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is also of good quality,as previously mentioned, this can very from one turntable to another depending upon stylus quality and condition. As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's and play-offs- with the right cleaning cloth these can sometimes be eradicated. There is though,on my equipment, no skipping, jumping or sticking throughout the entire duration of side two notwithstanding the marks I have mentioned..
The record labels are in very good order.
