The Beatles LP VJ 1092/1062 "Songs Pictures Stories" w/ CLEVELAND STICKER Issued in 1964
Cover is VG (average) with light shelf and handling wear. No seam splits but seams worn. No creased corners, writing or stains. Front right corner has slight missing paper. Slight clear tape on top front right corner.
Record is VG (average) with scattered very light wear. Not sand papered or ugly. Excellent gloss and shine. No stickers. Writing on one label.
Beatles Songs, Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles Gatefold Mono LP with Cleveland Concert Banner (Vee-Jay VJ1092, 1964). Vee-Jay had lost the Beatles to Capitol Records in late 1963 but managed to repackage the number of tracks they had in imaginative ways. This attempt to squeeze the most from their limited Fab Four assets was simply the Introducing The Beatles LP (with "Ask Me Why" and "Please Please Me") with a totally new deluxe cover photos and fun facts from the band. This copy was purchased at the 1964 American Tour : "Souvenir of their Appearance at Public Auditorium, Cleveland - Sept. 15, 1964"
