The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's lonely hearts club band, Capitol SMAS-2653, 1967 Jacksonville press.
"0" in run out on side 1 indicates a Jacksonville, Il. made in 1967. There are other releases of 1968 that are very similar but released on the West Coast.
Catalog reference on sleeve is SMAS 2653, on sleeve spine is 2653 and on Side 1 & 2 labels is SMAS-2653.
No reference to "a subsidiary of Capitol Industries, Inc." that is noted on some 1968 releases and all 1969 releases.
Vinyl is VG++, a few light wispy scuffs, still retains shine, very nice! Very clean labels! Insert is VG+++. Inner sleeve is VG+ with 1/2 inch split at bottom.
Cover is VG+++, no splits, stickers, writing, stains. Tight seams. Clean spine. Light corner pushes. Very clean back cover, so hard to find this nice. Inside gatefold cover is clean.
A wonderful condition, original 1967 copy, complete and beautiful.
