Description

This is my Let It Be Box set; it's complete but please read below regarding the individual components and their condition-

  • Outer box; this is complete but showing signs of wear - top and bottom front have been slightly crushed causing creasing and minor laminate lifting along the crease. Edges show slight laminate lifting. Both top corners have been bashed with slight laminate lifting and tears, particularly to top left
  • Inner tray is well bashed and creased. It's complete but has clearly been manhandled over the years with significant creasing on the flaps. There is a replacement inner tray included with the box - this is a later production
  • Book holder; this is a later replacement from the same source as the replacement inner. It's obviously mint
  • Book; original and is in superb condition. All of the pages are complete and it hasn't started to self destruct
  • Poster, is a later issue and not an original. I added this to my box later
  • LP is the original with the 2U matrix on both sides making it a first press. There are odd areas of surface mark but it looks clean. I've played this and detected surface noise but no skips. I'd rate this as Good
  • LP sleeve shows the outline of the LP on the cover. The spine has wear on the middle and bottom - see picture. Creasing  on rear and front but no laminate lift
  • LP inner is the standard white G&L issue. It's complete

You'll likely know that these boxes are notoriously difficult to find in anything other than average condition - the laminate and inner book tray did not lend themselves to anything other than the most sensitive of handling and storage with the consequence that the vast majority became trashed in relatively short time spans. Nevertheless, the book and the 2u matrix pressings are much sought after with the book in particular being a cornerstone of any Beatles collection.
