Description

This is the Original UK Box set for the initial 1970 release of The Beatles Let It Be album. A limited number of these rare box sets were produced for the release of the album & movie. The set contains the lp, jacket & sleeve, a book of photos & transcripts from the film held in a paperboard card package. These Let It Be box set packages are notoriously fragile, especially the book and tray. The lp and book are in near mint to mint condition and the box packaging is in very good condition.  The book is in unread "as new", mint condition.  The lp is in excellent, near mint condition with no visable scratches - looks like it was rarely if ever played. Record labels are in mint condition (label info: EMI YEX.773 - PCS 7096 - stamped with "YEX 77 4 - 2U" in the wax)  The outer box cover is glossy black and is in very good condition with some scratches on the bottom as this is the outer cover. The spine is tight & fully intact (some dogear) The outer box insert is in very good condition  The inner tray has some creases & a tear and is in good condition.  **My uncle is the original owner who acquired it in Ithaca NY as one of the very few copies of this release imported to the USA** * Please feel free to request additional photos - fixed shipping and insurance of $10 for US and $15 for international.
