Original UK 1st Pressing with 2U/2U matrix

This auction is for the very rare UK Let It Be box set.

This is the original LP with red Apple logo cover, box set outer cover and the original Beatles Get Back book but please note the inner/outer tray and Beatles Promo poster are new replacements.

MATRIX INFORMATION

Side 1:- YEX 773-2U

Side 2:- YEX 774-2U

CONDITION

VINYL:- VG+/VG

The vinyl is clean and shiny with a nice gloss. Side 1 has a few light marks/hairlines and when tested plays great with good audio playback but some light background crackle on occasion. Side 2 has more obvious marks but none are feelable and when played it still sounds good with crisp and clear audio quality although as before there is some background crackle.

LP SLEEVE:- EXCELLENT

The original 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd cover has the red Apple logo on the rearas expected with the box set. It is in very nice clean condition and is very nice and presentable, there is some scuffing on the bottom of the sleeve at the rear but this is relatively light and does not go through the laminate.

BOX SET OUTER COVER:- VG+

The Let It Be Box Set outer cover is a decent presentable cover but there is some scuffing to the bottom on the front of the sleeve and two small tears on the right side of the opening edge, there is also the remains of a sticker on the top right.

GET BACK BOOK:-

The original Get Back book is in good condition. I have had a look through and it is complete and has no writing or tearing inside and the pages are nice and clean. The outer of the book does have some signs of ageing/storage with a small scuff/knock mark on the rear.

INNER TRAY/OUTER TRAYS

The inner and outer trays are in great condition, as stated these are recent relacements to ensure a great complete item.

APPLE PROMOTIONAL POSTER

The reprodiction poster is in great condition and helps to make this a great and complete set.

This is one of numerous LP's that I am forced to sell at the moment. They are generally 40-50 years old and range from Mint to Good, the vast majority are VG+ to EX and play fine but I just don't have the time to check them all and play them. As a result I will describe them as best as I can but if I don't describe that they have been play tested then they have not been so, and if I state that a record has had a quick test play that means I have listened to parts to check the sound quality and not that I have listened to the entire LP from start to finish to count crackles!! I will try and describe the visual condition of the records as best as I can, I have 25+ years experience of grading but please note that marks don't dissapear in the post and as they are old vinyl records there will be some static crackles on even unplayed records so please bear this in mind, the are not CD's!! I will not describe normal background crackle in descriptions but will refund less return postage cost if I have made an error in a description. Good luck and keep an eye out on my auctions.
