Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Let it Be' 1970 1st Press, Red Apple sleeve!
This particular pressing is the very first pressing of Let it Be, featuring the rarer and short-lived 'Red Apple' sleeve, which features a red apple that was later changed to a regular green apple. Alo features the very first matrices of -2U and -2U, the same record and sleeve that would be included in the highly sought after box set.

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are a lot of scratches and marks on this record (pictured), it's clearly been loved and played. Visually, grades as FAIR/GOOD-. A few lightly feelable marks too. These older pressings do hold up well. Label is VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1.
Audio: I have played the first two tracks on Side 1 and 2 ONLY!! There is a slight warp in the record - please see the video I uploaded. Doesn't effect playback, as long as you don't have a suitcase record player. Lots of crackle and pops, these 4 tracks grade as GOOD-.
Sleeve: The original 1970 rare Red Apple sleeve is currently rated as VERY GOOD! It's fully intact with no seam splits. Lovely gloss and shine with some laminate creasing and light ringwear. Pinched spine but fully readable - quite common on this type of sleeve. Has some edgewear but nothing serious.
