Description

This is a used, but still very nice copy of The Beatles "Live in Hamburg", 26 tracks recorded live in Germany on the first 2 LP's. A couple of the song titles shown in photo #2 are wrong-the first track is a killer version of "I Saw Her Standing There" & the first track on side 2 is "Twist & Shout" & the 5th track is not "Til There Was You" (song is not known to me), but the rest seem correct. The sound quality is very good for these live recordings & show The Beatles learning their craft on a bunch of very well done cover versions. The 3rd LP is the Silver Beatles, but they are doing 12 cover versions that I have not seen on other Silver Beatles discs. All these tunes were probably recorded before 1963. The box is a 2-piece cardboard box, mostly white, but with no dirt or ring wear, but the bottom of the lid had a small rip that was repaired with clear tape. The label says "GEMA" which makes me think this box set is from Germany, as they would have access to the live tapes. 36 tracks in all.
