In this auction is 1 Beatles Picture Sleeve. There is NO vinyl.   

 

Here are the details about the picture sleeve in this auction:

 

·       “THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD” b/w “FOR YOU BLUE” by The Beatles

·       This is the PICTURE SLEEVE for Apple Records 2832.

·       This sleeve was released May 11, 1970.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION would be NEAR MINT MINUS; however, at sometime in its past a previous owner cut off the small uneven portion of the sleeve at the top to make the top of the sleeve even. (I suppose this was done so it would fit completely into a plastic sleeve without any sticking out.) So, since the uneven top portion was cut off, the sleeve condition would revert to VG, though otherwise it would be NM.  

·       The sleeve is flat. There is very slight play hole disc impression.

·       What is nice about the sleeve is that it does not show any ring wear on the Beatles’ images on either side. This PRIMARILY WHITE SLEEVE is tough to find without wear/smearing on the images. The wear/smearing on this sleeve was often caused during shipping when 25 sleeves and disks were packed in Apple 45RPM shipping boxes distributed to record stores and rubbed together during transit causing color smearing on the sleeve’s images. But not on this sleeve!!! Check out the images and you’ll see how nice the images on this sleeve are!!!

·       This is a straight-cut (East Coast) Sleeve.
