The Beatles, Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You, vinyl 45 (UK, Parlophone, 1962), M-
Parlophone 45-R 4949. Original first Hayes pressing, recorded 4 September, 1962, with Ringo Starr on drums, without "MADE IN GT BRITAIN" on red label [Spizer no. PAR 4949.01B(ii)/S001Bb], released October 1962. Certainly among the first 15,000-30,000 copies pressed, as tax code indicates pressed by November 1962. "GO" code on both sides indicates each was made from just the 15th stampers—very early in the run. Composer credit not centered on A-side, Composer credit lacks closing parenthesis on B-side. Disc: M-: finest archival copy; vinyl and labels appear flawless, full mirrorlike lustre, beautiful; no hairlines or other marks on playing surface; dink intact; no wol, no sol, only two light spindle burns on B-side label. I have owned for decades and have never played. Runout markings: 7XCE 17144-1N GO AX DX [AD x'd out] MP ZT 1 / 7XCE 17145-1N GO MP ZT 1 Original beach towel sleeve, VG: no woc or soc; one 1" tear and 1/8" ding from center hole on one side; 2" seam split on bottom, 1" or less on sides.

Photos are always of actual item offered. All items are visually graded under a bright light by strict Goldmine standards. M- is my highest grade, and is applied to New Old Stock, as I had direct access to the contents of manufacturers' cartons from the mid-1970s onward. I have been a vinyl collector since 1964 and appreciate honest, conservative, and fair product descriptions. Smoke-free home.

Vinyl 45s are shipped separately from any picture sleeves or printed stock sleeves, and encased in protective polypropylene sleeves and extra recycled board.
All orders will be shipped within two to four business days of payment; please allow one to three weeks for domestic arrival.
In the unlikely event that an item needs to be returned, buyer must contact seller first; buyer pays return postage and any applicable sales, VAT, or GST taxes.
Seller reserves the right to cancel any orders with outstanding balances after seven calendar days if buyer is not in communication with seller.
