Now for something very rare and very special .
The Beatles - Love me do - Rare 2012 withdrawn 50th Anniversary 7" single with the wrong version and wrong B.SIDE serial number - original and unplayed mint 2012 .
this is a brilliant item and is now very rare , to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the single LOVE ME DO was re-released in 2012 but a huge mistake was made , because EMI had released a certain amount of the singles using the wrong version of Love me do with Andy white version on drums instead of the intended version with Ringo Starr on drums and so a letter was sent out to all record stores by EMI to withdraw the single and recall it back to EMI stating that this release is "FAULTY STOCK" . not only had they made a massive error with the wrong version BUT also there was another huge mistake made the B.SIDE also has the wrong serial number on the label - R 4714 , instead of R. 4949 . ............................................................................................................................................................................... This item is one of those copies of the withdrawn single and ALSO a copy of the re-call first page letter ( see photos 4&5 ) Now this is beginning to get very rare indeed and especially with the faulty stock letter , the record has never been played and only handled once before i made this listing since i had bought it 2 weeks from it"s released date on the 15/10/2012 , both record and the letter has been inside a poly-pocket since then , the vinyl is in unsealed mint condition (was not released sealed) and the letter has only some very mild creases at the top of the letter .....................................................................................................................................
