Description
I’m putting up for auction MORE BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES and MATCHING 45 RPM RECORDS. So, please check out my other auctions, too.
In this auction are 1 original Beatles Tollie Records Picture Sleeve and 1 original Beatles Tollie Records 45 RPM record.
Here are the details:
· “LOVE ME DO” b/w “P.S. I LOVE YOU” by The Beatles
· This is TOLLIE RECORDS T-9008.
· This record was issued in 1964.
· The Picture Sleeve for Tollie Records T-9008 was issued April 27, 1964.
· This is an early pre-Capitol Records Picture Sleeve.
· IT IS THE ONLY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVE RELEASED BY TOLLIE RECORDS!
· This picture sleeve has become especially popular and desirable, because the drawing on this sleeve was later used on the VERY RARE PORTRAIT COVER prepared for the later issue of “The Beatles And Frank Ifeld On Stage” Vee Jay LP (Vee Jay 1085 LP).
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY STRONG VG to VG+ CONDITION. There is light overall wear with light signs of handling. There is just a hint of very light/slight partial ring wear. There is some light disc impression and slight wrinkling/folds on the sleeve at the opening. There are a couple of very light surface creases. There is a VERY TINY nick/tear at the top opening above the Tollie logo on one side and a 1-inch seam spilt in the middle of the bottom seam. The sleeve still has very nice color! There is NO WRITING on the sleeve.
· The VINYL is in NICE VG+ CONDITION with just a few very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs. This Tollie pressing has yellow labels with “tollie” and “RECORDS” in black print in a box that is open above the “t” and open at 3 other alternating corners.
A NICE EARLY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVE that is becoming increasingly hard-to-find these days!

These grading Good+ (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade this 45 and picture sleeve, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
