Description
Very first UK press of The Beatles Love Songs.
The matrix numbers are YEX 971-1, YEX 972-1, YEX 973-1 and YEX 974-1
The perimeter text on the records starts EMI RECORDS LTD…. and ends with MADE IN GT BRITAIN, the perimeter text on second and third press copies starts ALL RIGHTS OF THE PRODUCER AND OF THE OWNER….. and ends with EMI RECORDS LTD.
The cover is in very good condition, just some ringwear and some edge/corner shelfwear
Visually the records appear to be in beautiful condition - they still have a lovely shine with only the lightest of marks to be seen. I did notice the odd finger mark which can be easily cleaned away. The last time I played them, which was some time afo, I noted that they "played perfectly". I did not mention any crackle at the time but, for selling purposes, I'll add that you may notice the odd spot of crackle here and there.
The records are housed in the standard EMI inners that are just a little creased and discoloured but are fully intact with no splits.
