Description
This product is a gatefold 2 x LP vinyl record of The Beatles' "Love Songs" released by Parlophone in 1977. Produced by Sir George Martin, this pop rock album features original inner sleeve and cover, with a very good plus inlay and sleeve grading. The 33 RPM record is in stereo format, on black vinyl, and comes in a cardboard sleeve from the United Kingdom. With a catalogue number of PCSP 721, this collection of English-language love songs from the 1970s is a must-have for fans of The Beatles.
I use the following standards to grade.
1. Mint (M)
- Vinyl: Absolutely perfect in every way. Has never been played. No scuffs, scratches, warps, or other flaws.
- Cover: Perfect, with no creases, ring wear, seam splits, or writing.
- Sleeve: Perfect, as new.
2. Near Mint (NM or M-) / Excellent (EX)
- Vinyl: Played only a few times, if at all. No visible wear, marks, or surface noise.
- Cover: Clean, sharp corners, no obvious ring wear or marks.
- Sleeve: no obvious wear
3. Very Good Plus (VG+)
- Vinyl: Light signs of use. May have a few faint surface marks or slight background noise in quieter parts.
- Cover: Minor wear, slight wear or corner creases, but still very presentable.
- Sleeve: Slight wear or corner creases
4. Very Good (VG)
- Vinyl: Obvious signs of play. Surface noise noticeable in quiet sections, some light scratches or scuffs. Still plays well without skipping. A good listening copy.
- Cover: More visible wear—ring wear, seam splits, discoloration, writing, or stickers.
- Sleeve: Creases, discoloration, but no rips.
5. Good (G) / Good Plus (G+)
- Vinyl: Significant wear. Background noise, scratches, and visible groove wear are common. May skip once or twice.
- Cover: Major wear like heavy ring wear, seam splits, tape, large stickers, or tears.
- Sleeve: Major wear, but functional
6. Poor (P) / Fair (F)
- Vinyl: Badly damaged. Warped, cracked, or skips frequently. Hard to enjoy.
- Cover: Severely worn or torn, water damage, missing parts.
- Sleeve: : Severely worn or torn. Damaged.
