1977 UK 1st PRESS DOUBLE LP SET
This superb double album set dates from initial release in November 1977 and is on the 2-EMI box Parlophone labels: PCSP 721
Matrix numbers for disc 1: YEX 997-1 & YEX 972-1
Stamper codes: 1/MP & 3/OL
Matrix numbers disc 2: YEX 973-1 & YEX 974-1
Stamper codes: 2/RD & 1/RO
Vinyl weights: 116g & 128
Original Beatles cutting engineer Harry Moss' name 'HARRY' is etched in the side 1 & 3 run-outs
Both discs are housed within a UK printed gatefold cover & complete with both '9/77' EMI printed inner-sleeves.

All are clean & unblermished with just a single faint spindle trails to label's 1, 3 & 4's unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
All playing surfaces are perfectly clean & retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. In fact, Apart from two faint 1cm fingernail scuff lines on side 2 all are totally unmarked in strong daylight. Close inspction directly beneath halogen light reveals no further marks or wear at all.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has been played carefully just once and apart from a little light background at the beginning or each track on each side, the sound quality throughout remains flawless.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A clean & strong exmaple of this attractive cover where both panels are clean & unworn with just a hint of unavoidable disc impression. There are a few spine bends which are only really visible from the rear. The inside of the gateold is unworn and both seams and the spine are unstressed & unsplit.
Inners
EXCELLET
Both are clean & flat & unworn with some light storage creasing but no writing, stresses or splits to any seam.
