Featured here is and absolutely superb example of this SCARCE AND BRIEFLY ISSUED Original 1976 UK FIRST ISSUE Vinyl LP for The Beatles UK Parlophone release, MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR, featuring tracks taken from The Beatles TV film Magical Mystery Tour.

Released in the UK 19th November 1976, this is the first time that Magical Mystery Tour was released in the UK as an Album. For reasons unknown, EMI did not advertise this UK Parlophone LP in any way at the time. Consequently it did not sell very well, and failed to chart at the time, making it sought after now, due to its BRIEF release.

The Stereo Vinyl LP is on the official Black & Silver Parlophone Label, with ‘Mfd in the UK by EMI Records’ label rim, printed to both sides of the record labels.

Both record labels are in SUPERB Mint condition – a flawless set of undamaged record labels.

The Side 1first issue matrix is: YEX 959-1 and side 2 matrix: YEX 960-1.

Side 1 stampers: 1 AG, Additionally in the trail out groove are the letters HTM. Side 2 stampers: 1 RO, also with the letters HTM.

Both sides of the Vinyl disc are, without hesitation, in Mint condition - Pure unmarked as new vinyl LP!

Play Quality:

The album plays as NEW, perfect sound quality.

The record comes in its original EMI printed white inner bag, The bag is in Excellent condition, NO seam splits, just a hint of inevitable mild record indentation, and light age toning.

The album is protected in its ORIGINAL UK First Issue gatefold sleeve, incorporating a very nice 24 page booklet, stapled within the Gatefold Sleeve. The booklet contains colour photographs and cartoons images taken from the Magical Mystery Tour TV film. The lyrics to each of the five songs that were featured in the film, are printed on the inside of the back cover of the gatefold sleeve.

The Gatefold sleeve is, without question, a Mint Minus example – SUPERB condition throughout, the sleeve is firm, flat and square. The spine edge looks new. The 24 page booklet is in Mint condition, NO loose pages, NO tearing, NO creasing or handwriting to any of the pages, and still firmly attached with original staples – PERFECT!
