Here is the info about THE BEATLES’ PROMOTIONAL RECORD in this auction:

• “THE BEATLES’ MOVIE MEDLEY” by The Beatles

• This is Capitol Records SPRO-9758/9.

• This is a 12-INCH PROMOTIONAL SINGLE RECORD.

• It was issued in February, 1982.

• As the cover printing states, it was issued to promote the release of The Beatles’ “REEL MUSIC” LP.

• As you probably know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were pressed in very limited quantities and were only made available to the DJs/Radio Stations for on-air play. They were NOT made available for sale to the general public. This makes them VERY desirable and sought after by Beatles collectors and/or vinyl collectors.

• The LABELS have “NOT FOR SALE” printed on them.

• The REVERSE SIDE of the COVER has “NOT FOR SALE” and “FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY” printed on it.

• The Price Guide for the Beatles American Records, 6th Edition (by Perry Cox and Frank Daniels) published in 2007 states that this is the only US Beatles promotional 12-inch single released by Capitol Records!

• The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION with VERY LIGHT OVERALL WEAR: some very small white speckles on the right side of the front cover; very light wear on the corners; a couple of very small pushes on two corners; 3 very small and light surface creases near the spine and 1 small light surface crease near the lower right corner.

• The VINYL is in NEAR MINT (NM) CONDITION.

It’s a VERY NICE COPY of this BEATLES’ 12-INCH PROMOTIONAL SINGLE that will be a GREAT ADDITION to someone’s Beatles or vinyl collection!!!
