Very early 1st pressing Export for the UK copy of The Beatles' last US albums to be released in the Mono format and that was pressed for only few weeks. Jacksonville, Illinois plant pressing with the early matrix numbers missing the "x" and having the rare "MAI" abbreviation instead of "MAL": Side 1 - MAI-1-2835-G4  2  O; Side 2 - MAI2-2835-F7  #2  O. Capitol Records original release with an export for the UK gold-foil sticker saying "Specially Imported by E.M.I. RECORDS (The Gramophone Company Ltd.) Under license from and on payment of royalty to the British copyright owners concerned" in red. Cardboard gatefold cover with the catalog number "MAL-2835" on the back cover and spine which also features a "Mono" banner. The cover has a twenty-four page color booklet and the West Coast slick with the handwritten "No You're Not!". The slick mistakenly credits the publishing on all of the album's songs to "Maclen Music, Inc., BMI." just like it's the case with the Capitol Records labels of this copy. This cover comes with an East Coast, Jacksonville, Illinois vinyl, please note that this is an original combination. The cover is graded as Excellent Minus with some light bumping to the corners, including the top left corner which also has some small light creasing. The booklet is fully attached to the cover. The pages of the booklet don't have any tears or writing. Some song titles on the paste over slick inside the cover were marked by a small cross, but you'll notice these indentation marks only if you know about it. Some light shelf wear on the back cover, but the front is in more or less Near Mint Minus condition and doesn't have a ring wear. The vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus with the Near Mint Minus labels as it has a few light marks and scuffs from the original paper inner sleeve that comes with the album. I would grade the audio as Excellent Plus, because it sounds great without any skips, pops or clicks.
