Description

The Beatles ‎Magical Mystery Tour  SMAL-2835 1st Pressing, Scranton 1967. Stereo.

Gatefold.
This album appears as if it just had the shrink wrap seal removed after purchasing.   It really is 'like new', from 1967.   I would have to call it as Mint+, or Mint(conservatively).   Stored for decades.
Black label with colorband, without the "subsidiary" rim text. BMI credit after every song on label.
With 24-page book bound to center of gatefold that has never been detached.

Has: "All selections are published by Maclen Music, Inc., BMI" on left inside gatefold.

Has: ("No You're Not" said Little Nicola) under "I Am The Walrus" inside gatefold in BLOCK print (and not in cursive as in later issues).

  • From what I can read:

On the label:  Side 1: SMAL-X-1-2835 Side 2: SMAL-X-2-2935
On the runout ('dead wax'):
  • Side 1 : "IAM" triangle stamp, with etched:
  • SMAL-1-2835-A23^3
  • Side 2 : "IAM" triangle stamp, with etched:
  • SMAL-2-2835-B22^2

Pics are of actual item. Please use these to judge condition for yourself. (white spots on vinyl are reflections and not actual marks; vinyl has no detectable marks, aside from runout stamps and etchings).

I used all the 24 pictures that eBay allows; if more pictures are needed, I can send, or post a YouTube video.

Shipping will be insured (and carefully packed in bubblewrap AND cardboard boxing).*

Feel free to make offers, if applicable (offers will be more looked at after a few days of listing, to insure others have seen listing).**

Bundle with other items, if offered.

Watch my pages for many more collectible and rare titles and artifacts.

Any returns, if applicable, must be sent back in the original physical condition in which they were received by the buyer.

Buyer is responsible for taxes.

Seller reserves right to choose or change shipping carrier.

* If an item is a new DVD or other video format and includes free shipping, understand that offers below $13.69 will very ikely be declined, unless the same buyer is making simultaneous offers on other items. This is due to cost of packing/shipping, making it unfeasible.

** Keep in mind that it may take time to respond to an offer, and that offers made will more likely be responded to when the item has been listed for some time (e.g., a few days).  I generally will let an item run for a week before accepting offers, so the item can be seen by more persons.

Sometimes outside events may delay or prevent responses to offers - please do not take it personally. Possibly, when it is absurdly low, I will 'ignore' an offer, believing it isn't serious.

Listings follow a 'cascade', wherein an item that has not sold over a period of time, will likely be progressively price-reduced.  Kind of like a slow 'Dutch auction'.
