Description

The Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour. LP. Capitol. Factory Sealed. '70s issue.
Hello everyone.
I'm back with another item for your viewing pleasure and bidding consideration. This time it's the LP configuration of The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour".
Though originally issued in 1967 this factory sealed copy looks to be from the early to mid '70s because the cover is obviously not pasted on the cardboard backing. I've been involved in the record business since 1971 and this is one of the finest looking copies I've seen in a long time. It still has a rather weighty feel to it which tells me it's not an '80s pressing though I'm taking into consideration the booklet as well as the vinyl. Regarding the cover - The first and third photos reveal sticker residue in the upper right corner. There are no tears or separations in the shrink wrap; light ring wear is more noticeable on the back than the front.. I do see a small bend in the bottom right corner when looking at the front. Regarding the record - As this appears to be from the early to mid '70s it could very easily bear the Apple label though the possibility exists the label could be the orange Capitol design. As far as the sound goes some people think the '70s pressings are terrific some think they are terrible. Here's what I say: if you decide to open it you'll be the first to hear this copy.
Shipping is by USPS Media Mail unless you as the winning bidder prefer another method. If so let me know. As with all my listings if you have any questions regarding this item please contact me and I will respond as quickly as possible.
The Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour. Capitol SMAL-2835.
Thank you.
