I am selling an original pressing (USA) of "The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour" LP Still Sealed from 1967/68. It has been professionally framed and certified by Hein's Rare Collectibles. The record itself is in near mint condition and has been kept inside the frame for quite some time. The frame itself has a small 1/2 inch chip on the bottom left corner. Two of the edges of the frame have a small 1/10th of a centimeter gap. Some of the paper on the backside is torn, not affecting the record or frame.

Original First Pressing USA Still Sealed 1967/68 "Magical Mystery Tour LP" Capitol Records, SMAS 2835
To Whom It May Concern:
The purpose of this document is to serve as verification of "Authenticity" pertaining to the above listed Beatles item.
Released in time for the Christmas Season of 1967, Capitol's "Magical Mystery Tour" LP was in stores throughout the USA as early as November 27, 1967. Americans quickly swept the LP's off the store's shelves, and the LP was Certified Gold on December 15th. The album went on to sell over one and a half million copies before Christmas 1967.
If carefully viewed, the inner sleeve color of "OFF-WHITE" can be seen, a solid "WHITE" inner sleeve used by Capitol Records in the late 1960's. The LP was obtained from a collection of only 1960's Beatles LP's originally purchased when they were first released. The cover does feature a "slick" cardboard cover construction, characteristic of 1967/68 pressings of the LP (this would later change to "non-slick posterboard" cover construction in the early 1970's and forward). Also the cover "includes" the full color booklet, which would later be deleted altogether. The shrink wrap on the cover does have the characteristic "Breathe Holes" commonly found on most Original Still Sealed records from that time period.
During the mid-1960's, Capitol Records manufactured records at three main pressing plants; Los Angeles, CA: Jacksonville, IL: and Scranton, PA. Since the LP is Still Sealed, it is impossible to determine which of the three Capitol Records Plants manufactured this LP. No factory printer numbers were ever used on the outside cover.
The Beatles STEREO LP “Magical Mystery Tour" is Still Sealed and in Near Mint Condition. Only some flaws are exhibited as a result of age and storage over the last 40+ years. A color photo of this LP appears on the reverse side of this Letter of Authenticity in reduced size. Should the item accompanying this document be any different than that as shown on the reverse side, then this Letter of Authenticity is null and void.
Since there are literally 1000's of "counterfeit" Beatles items/Records circulating on the internet these days, Letters of Authenticity (LOA's) are being DEMANDED by collectors.
