An original 1st press in LP format by EMI in the UK - 1976. The material was originally released in '67 as two Eps in the UK. In the USA they went with the LP format in '67. Parlophone eventually realised they were missing a trick - and released in LP format in the UK for the 1st time in 1976! 1st pressings MUST mention 'EMI' at the start of the perimeter text. Matrix 1/1. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with booklet. We also have the original EMI inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. A couple of slight marks per side - hardly anything . A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with deviation in a couple of tracks. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quite and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a very nice clean player. All I could detect was  slight signs of use in STRAWBERRY FIELDS - hard to avoid...funnily enough this track was quite popular! And by that I mean slight background in a couple of the quieter parts, and a solitary tick as the track closes out. Nothing upfront. The only tracks where there's some background are the fussy ones - FOOL & Blue Jay. Expect some light background here and there. Nothing bad - these tracks are perfectly enjoyable... they just won't be fully clean like the rest of the LP. A couple of ticks as Flying closes out. Get all these Beatle classics from a 1st press in stereo. Superb audio - they did a great job on the early copies. Cracking tracks and some great audio.
Cover (Ex-) Really well preserved cover. Usually this title is in poor condition - occasionally you snag a smart looking number. The outer surfaces are VERY clean and flat - this is unusual. No signs of ageing or wear on the surfaces - it is very smart looking. Sight bump to one corner. Slight one inch wear patch in middle of top edge of right panel. The interior is clean, but just slight sign of ageing on left opening panel. The Booklet is all intact, but has detached from the main cover - nearly all copies do this. Booklet hasn't been heavily thumbed. Spine is in excellent order. Minimal edge wear. VERY respectable overall.
Inners (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits!
