Description
A fantastic 1981 limited edition master recording of The Beatles' landmark Magical Mystery Tour album. A great collectible for the Beatles fan, either remaining sealed or opening and playing a decades-old album for the first time.
This Beatles master recording album was issued by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) way back in1981 as part of their Beatles catalog. My father and my two uncles were partners in a Tucson record store from the early 1970s through the early 2010s, and my dad saved a number of collectible records over the years - many of them sealed, like this one. These were all boxed up for decades until about a year ago when I took ownership of them.
See photos - original sealed in the "bag" style wrapper rather than the more common shrink-wrap for "regular" LPs. Looks like some very minor "shifting" wear along top right corner. Also the bottom/back of the opening looks to be "rough cut" but research showed this was normal.
