As a vinyl collector, I’ll always give you every descriptive detail that I would ant to know if I was the buyer. I’m not one of these sellers who’ll just list vinyl and say the grading and that’s it... and most vinyl sellers on here just don’t have a clue anyhow; I’ve been collecting vinyl for years and along with those years, I have gained the expertise and knowledge of how a vinyl should be cared for and looked after. So please be rest assured that you'll receive what is being described here.

On offer here is The Mobile Fidelity 1981 pressing of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour. Half-speed mastering production; Specially plated and pressed on High Definition Vinyl. The vinyl on sale for auction here is flawless. It’s as near mint as can be, I can’t see a mark on it when inspected under strong halogen light. A suspected handful of plays if that. The vinyl was a joy to listen to. If you are the winning bidder, you will not be disappointed with the quality of playback.

Vinyl Visual: Near Mint (inspected under strong halogen light)

Both sides look fantastic, I can’t see a mark on either side. Both sides gleam like new! It’s as if the vinyl has just been pressed today, it truly is a beauty visually. Only the odd extremely light sleeve removal mark but I’m being super critical there. Believe me, it’ll be tough to find better.

Vinyl Audio: Near Mint!

Playback on both sides is stunning. Extremely quiet run-in, I don’t think I’ve heard quieter on any vinyl. The linking groove between songs is also super quiet. Background noise is almost non-existent. The pressing quality Mobile Fidelity have produced here is special and if you want to hear a mint sounding Beatles MFSL vinyl, this vinyl on sale here is the one to get. It’s hardly seen the needle in its grooves. From all the evidence, I suspect it’s been played once or twice and then put on the shelf for the past 40 years. Believe me, you will not be disappointed with the playback.

Labels: Near Mint

Just 1or 2 very small hard to see spindle trail lines very close to the center-hole on both sides when inspected on an angle under strong halogen light. This indicates this vinyl has hardly been played or it has very carefully been placed on the turntable platter. From the audio playback I have witnessed, I suspect it’s hardly been played

Sleeve: Very Good+

The gatefold sleeve shows signs of shelf-wear. The wear is most prominent at the top (please see photos) There is a small 2cm tear at the top entrance of the sleeve where the vinyl is housed, again please see photos. The spine looks good, along with the bottom edge. Inside the gatefold looks crisp. No split seams where the vinyl has broken through the carboard seams. Nice front and back cover. Please see the photos of the gatefold sleeve as they’re very important to the condition report.

Inner-Sleeve: Excellent

Generic MoFi polythene inner with a cardboard cover that wraps around the polythene inner looks in good shape.

All my vinyl is cleaned with a Project VC-S3 Record vacuum cleaning machine with Project Wash-it 2 cleaning fluid. The only way I recommend cleaning a vinyl. Never Rub wipe because all you’re doing is pushing dirt/dust deeper into the groves and potentially unnecessarily scratching your records.

All vinyl is packed in strong cardboard vinyl mailers with the aid of cardboard stiffeners for extra protection.

Vinyl will be separated from the original outer and inner sleeves and placed in new poly-lined inners. This is to prevent split seam damage to the original outer and inner sleeves during postage.

Returns:

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, please contact me before leaving feedback and I’ll always resolve any issue. If you want to send the item back, I’ll only pay return shipping fees if I’m at fault; I’m human after all. But if you’re sending the item back just for the sake of it, that’s a different story…you’ll have to pay the return fee. Please repack the vinyl the exact way you received it, if you return damaged goods, your return will not be accepted. Please don’t destroy the cardboard vinyl mailer upon opening because you can reuse it.
