EXTREMELY RARE in the U.S.....especially in "this incredible pristine condition".
Cover and record are in excellent plus, pristine, near mint, if not mint, or 9.7 out of 10 condition. The record has only been played once or twice at the most, and on an expensive Thorens turntable that would not have put even the slightest wear on the grooves. I ordered it and bought it brand new, being a collector at the time, back in the late 1970s, back when I worked for a record store and had import ordering connections. This U.K. manufactured 12 inch 33 1/3 edition of Magical Mystery Tour was NEVER commercially available in the United States unless specially ordered from England through an import records source.
The cover is in near mint/pristine condition with the exception a very small section on the very edge of the cover where it says "The Beatles", where the edge had a slight small tear in the surface which has been taped for protection and to avoid the tear extending, (visible in photo). Some of the white section of the inner album cover near the song titles is very slightly yellowed from age, but very minor and if anything, adds to the "originality" of the item.
The cover inner booklet is certainly in mint condition with NO tears, rips, stains, or folds. The record itself has always been stored in a protective plastic sleeve, and also the cover has always had a protective clear plastic on it. In 1976 this was released in the U.K. for the first time as a full size 12 inch LP rather than only being available as the 7 inch EP in the U.K. In 1976 and 1977 Capitol/Apple in the U.S. and Parlophone/EMI/Apple in the U.K. manufactured collectable records in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the release of the Sgt. Pepper album. This was one of the items and is most likely a 1976, if not shortly after, pressing of this album as I acquired it around the late 1970s.

Price was based on the EXTREME RARE availability and value of this item. I have not seen another one of these on EBAY, from a U.S. seller that is, and in this incredible pristine condition.
