Description
This is the original 1967 US Capitol Record in stereo (SMAL 2835), which features the 24 page book bound to the centre of the gatefold cover.
This record has not been stuck in an attic collecting dust, but rather part of a much loved vinyl collection. I decided it was the right time to sell the record in order to fund new purchases and for someone else to enjoy its possession.
Using the UK Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide I believe this vinyl to be in a very good condition. It has been played throughout and displays no major sound deterioration. There is slight crackle in between tracks but there are no serious defections to affect play.
In terms of the appearance of the discs, there are surface marks as would be expected of its age, but there are no serious scratches or defects to either the vinyl or centre labels.
The cover has some slight wear, most notably in the bottom right corner of the front cover and there is possibly some slight fading of colour too, but overall the condition has been preserved very well.
A couple of pages in the booklet are ever so slightly loose but this is very minimal, with most pages still in excellent condition.
This is a very good copy of a 58 year old classic rock album for any music lover to own.
