Description
Beatles "Meet The Beatles" 1964 Debut recording of the Beatles on Capitol Records. This is a mono first/original pressing which is one of the variants that are attributed to being pressed in Capitol's Scranton plant. There is no producer listed on the rear cover, the rear cover shows no number in the lower right (near the RIAA marking) but the matrix runout DOES contain the tiny triangular I AM symbol which is the indicator for the Capitol Scranton plant.
On the very bottom of the rear cardboard cover there is wording in a very tiny font which seems to indicate that this pressing was done in both Scranton & Los Angeles -- but it is very difficult to read....
But, since I'm the original owner and I know when I bought it -- it definitely was the very first pressing available to buy in New York City. I bought this in my first year of junior high school at the old Alexander's on Lexington avenue.
Condition extensively described above under:
About this Item -->> Condition details from seller or seller notes
My pricing reflects very good/excellent audio quality and a fair/good cardboard cover....
Will ship by USPS Media mail to valid US addresses within 3 business days of receipt of cleared payment.
As I'm just an individual seller, not a pro collector or dealer -- It's generally my policy to not accept returns. I carefully study and describe all material aspects of the vinyl and the cover. I'm happy to answer any questions, provide more pics or even brief audio sample clips of the actual record playing. So I make sure it goes out to you just as I described it. If it gets damaged in shipment -- insurance will cover it.
I'm always interested in any buyer concerns and should any arise I will do my utmost to make sure the buyer is happy.
I offer multiple lp discounts -- so if you look over what I'm selling (I'm in the process of listing a large collection) and see more than one item you're interested in -- message me -- I can definitely give you a decent discount !!
