Description
This is a stereo copy of Meet the Beatles. West coast numeral 1 on the label. No 'subsidiary' on the label. I Want to Hold your Hand - published by BMI, all other song titles - published by ASCAP.
Condition of the disc is good, it plays through with no skips. Lots of surface scratches but no gouges or deep scratches that render it unplayable... Surface noise is moderate.
Inner sleeve is yellowed but intact with clear tape repair at the bottom.
Outer sleeve is in Very Good to Very Good Plus conditon. No rips or tears in any of the edges all graphics are superior. I believe it was stored in a plastic cover for much of its life.
This is one of the more rare Beatle discs. Stereo versions of this record were mostly made on the East coast in Capitol's Scranton, PA factory. Los Angeles versions of this record were mostly Monphonic until the end of the second production run in LA.
