Description
Very late 1st pressing in 1964 or very early 2nd pressing in 1964 of "Meet The Beatles" LP Capitol T-2047 MONO.
Rare deep circular groove on outer part of labed indicates an RCA plant pressing ( #6 )
Glossy label
BMI Side 1, tracks 1 & 2 * Side 2, track 5. The remaining tracks are ASCAP
No producer credits on back of cover, lower left (George Martin) where it appears on later pressings
COVER:
Mint Minus (M-) cover. Still is fresh as the day it came out. No splits, bumps or bangs on corners and no ring wear or yellowing (see pics) I have never seen a better example of a 50 year old Beatle LP, WOW!
VINYL:
Mint Minus (M-) vinyl. Again, WOW! The vinyl on this is super glossy and playgrade is like new. No snap, crackel or pop on begging tracks, sides A & B, inner track grooves are quiet as well. Sound is clean and crisp as new. I love those old Capitol glossy labels with the deep outer groove, make them unique an from a time long gone. The labels are like the rest of the album, LIKE NEW. Side 2 does have a slight imperfection. It looks like a small piece of vinyl shaving stuck to the record and was not removed before the label was applied
Record album is in a plastic protective outer sleeve
A NOTE:
I also have an original mono "High Fidelity"copy of "A Hard Days Night" by United Artists in like new condition. It has the rare glossy black label with color dots and gold & white print. All near mint if anyone is reaaalllyy interested
