Description
THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' MILLION SELLERS'
This hits round-up EP's original title was 'The Beatles Golden Discs' and it is that title which remains on both labels here.
This was amended to the correct 'The Beatles' Million Sellers' in 1969 and applied to all subsequent pressings.
This 1st pressing dates from original December 1965 release and is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: GEP 8946
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have upper case 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label & in both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 888-1 & 7TCE 889-1
Stamper codes: 4/GA & 3/GT
The disc is housed within a front laminated, bi-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed picture cover.

Labels: EXCELLENT
As you can see, the side 2 label has been pressed slihgtly off-centre but does not intrude onto the playing surface. There are also some light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean & unworn playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss shines and bear no noticeable surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a few barely visible, harmless paper/stylus hairlines but little else.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received minimal play on good equipment as all tracks play cleanly & clearly with no trace of any groove/play wear distortion. In fact, apart from a touch of light vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault on this fine sounding disc.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A superb example which displays a clean & unworn high-gloss front panel with just an light unavoidable inner-ring impression but no 'thumbnails' or creasing. All corners are sharp & unworn, as are both opening edges. The easily blemished rear panel is perfectly clean & white and free from any writing or missing paper.
