Description
As you probably know, PROMOTIONAL (PROMO) RECORDS were produced in VERY SMALL QUANTITIES and were released by the record companies ONLY to radio stations and DJs for on-air play. They were NOT available for sale to the public. Often, DJs wrote on and/or put stickers on the labels. Promo records were also often trashed after a period of time. Due to their small quantities produced and their unavailability to the public, they tend to be VERY DESIRABLE to many vinyl collectors and/or fans of certain musicians and bands.

This is Capitol Records SPRO-9758/9.

It is a 12-INCH PROMOTIONAL SINGLE RECORD that was issued in February, 1982.

The cover has printing that it was issued to promote the release of The Beatles’ “REEL MUSIC” LP.

SIDE 1 has a medley of: “Magical Mystery Tour”, “All You Need Is Love”, “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”, “I Should Have Known Better”, “A Hard Day’s Night”, “Ticket To Ride” and “Get Back”.

SIDE 2 has “The Beatles Talk About A Hard Day’s Night – 1964”.

Side 1 is in STEREO and Side 2 is in MONO.

“NOT FOR SALE” is printed on the labels- in YELLOW on the Side 1 label and in RED on the Side 2 label.

The REVERSE SIDE of the COVER has “NOT FOR SALE” and “FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY” printed at the top.

This is a UNIQUE Beatles Promo Record because it is ONE of ONLY THREE U.S. Beatles promotional 12-inch singles released by Capitol Records! In 1978 Capitol issued a 12-inch single on red vinyl of two Beatles songs in German and, of course more recently, “Now And Then”.

The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION with VERY LIGHT OVERALL WEAR.

The VINYL is in NEAR MINT (NM) CONDITION.
It’s a VERY NICE COPY of this UNIQUE BEATLES’ 12-INCH PROMOTIONAL SINGLE that will be a GREAT ADDITION to someone’s Beatles or vinyl collection!!!

Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY GRADE this cover and vinyl, so please know the descriptions of these
