THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' No.1'
This superb 4-track EP is a UK 1st pressing dating from November 1963 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8883
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK...' text but have 'Parlophone Co...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label & in both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 764-1N & 7TCE 765-1N
Stamper codes: 3/OO & 1,3/HP
Housed within a front laminated, rounded flipback 'Garrod' picture cover, notable for its alternate 'Please, Please Me' LP cover shot.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unworn set with just a handful of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss & unworn playing surfaces which bear only a few harmless stylus/paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp, but no real significant visual whatsoever.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This fine sounding, well looked after disc has been carefully & sparingly played and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
Carefully stored within clean, non-smoking environment, this cover looks like it left the shops yesterday - let alone 49 years ago.
The high-gloss front panel is, apart from an unavoidable faint inner ring from storage & a single faint 'thumbnail' wrinkle, flawless.
All corners are sharp and unworn, as as both opening edges. The exposed rear panel has the original owners name discreetly written in the upper left corner & a few tiny/faint blemishes along the opening edges, but it is otherwise in immaculate.
