THE BEATLES - 'LES BEATLES No.1'

Here are original 1964 1st AND 1965 2nd pressings of the French version of 'Please Please Me' LP on Odeon: OSX 225

Both have identical matrices: XAR 783 22/M 6 231562 & XAR 784 22/M 6 231563

Each is housed within identical fully laminated, earliest-type bi-flipback covers

1963 1st Pressing

Vinyl weight: 153g

CONDITION

Disc: GOOD

This disc has clearly been played many times but both playing surfaces are clean & retain a respectable gloss. There are however a number of surface marks and scratches, a few of which are 'feelable'.

Cover: VERY GOOD -

Moderate storagewear, mostly to the lower corners & front opening edge. There is slight wear to the spine lettering but both seams are fully intact.

1965 2nd Pressing

Vinyl weight: 157g

CONDITION

Disc: FAIR

Again, played many times with rather playworn surfaces beraring numerous, mostly light/wispy surface marks & a name written on the side 1 label.

Cover: GOOD

General storagewear with small upper & lower seam splits together with some small stains on the rear panel
