UK 1963 1st PRESSING 4-TRACK EP

This superb 1963 UK 1st pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8882

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

A single letter 'T' purchase tax code is visible in the center of the side 2 label.

Housed in a front laminated, bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed picture cover featuring an alternate shot from the 'Please, Please Me' album cover photo session.

Matrix numbers: 7TCE 762-2N & 7TCE 763-1N

Stamper codes: 1/AM & 1,3/OP

A pristine pair with just a single faint spindle mark to the side 1 centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Both surfaces are pristine & 'as new' in strong daylight with little more than a few insignificant wispy hairlines directly beneath halogen light.

Play: EXCELLENT +

This sound on this barely played copy is unworn throughout with and will not disappoint.

EXCELLENT +

A well-preserved example which retains a perfect high-gloss front laminate with no creasing or wrinkles anywhere. All corners & opening edges are completely unworn and apart from a touch of age-discolouration to the flipback edges, the rear panel is unblemished.
