Hello and Welcome!  

Despite being eBay Vintage Vinyl Sellers since 1999, we have recently elected to auction off the majority of our personal album collection under this new screen-name. We pride ourselves as collectors, sellers and most importantly, true purists when it comes to this hobby which has turned into a huge on-line business for many folks.   Unlike many eBay sellers of LPs these days, we still feel compelled to write up complete as well as accurate descriptions of our vinyl in order that no surprises will occur, other than happy ones.  This is why we take painstaking efforts to describe every detail of our play-graded LPs, which never seem to disappoint our buyers.   

Our Goldmine Grading of this or any other album entails a Visual Assessment of the Vinyl, Labels, Jacket, Inner Sleeve and Inserts (If Applicable) as well as an Aural Evaluation.  All pre-owned LPs that we put up for auction are first professionally cleaned with our VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine prior to being Play-Graded on a Denon DP 54-F Turntable equipped with a SHURE M97xE Cartridge/Stylus.  Our Pre-Amp is a Denon PMA 750.  Our Polk Audio Speakers allow one the opportunity to hear any sonic distortion, variation in sound quality such as drops in sound levels, detection of the slightest background noise e.g. crackle, clicking, and, of course, jumps.  All of our albums are stored upright and kept in an air conditioned, smoke free environment and are, or have been protected by polyurethane jacket protectors since our acquisition of them.  

We have decided to list an Extraordinarily Rare, Vintage 1971 European Vinyl Pressing of  The Beatles: No. 3  Abbey Road NW8  on  Audi Records  AR 8-69.   As seen in our photos, this single LP album has a stunning, and Beautiful Full Color Deluxe Photographed (by Linda Eastman) Jacket which features a front-side picture of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr with a reverse-side photo of George Harrison and John Lennon.  All 4 members of The Beatles are sitting, presumably during a "break" from the 'Abbey Road' film sessions.  Each Beatle is dressed in their respective outerwear which would eventually appear on the band's final studio album; this being, of course, 'Abbey Road'.      

We consider this LP to be an iconic piece of The Beatles recording history, as it features outtakes and studio rehearsal material from 'Abbey Road' on Side One.  Another dynamic which adds to this vinyl's desirability considers the "Superb Studio Stereo Soundboard" Sound Quality of the recording.  The audio is on par with any officially released Beatles album and this copy is in Pristine NM condition, both in terms of its Visual and Play-Grade.  The jacket, as stated previously, is absolutely worthy of being framed, although there is a visible 3/4 inch "crease" adjacent to Paul's knee.  This "crease", ironically appears on John's knee, on the reverse side.  It is approximately 1 inch in length.  Otherwise, the poster board jacket reveals minor tip wear on just one corner--the lower left side and a mild "fold-line" on the lower right side front flap.  We have graded the jacket as Excellent to NM-. 

This single LP set has been in our collection since the late 1970s and was played twice.  It has always been handled extremely carefully and stored upright, in a climate-controlled room, and sealed in a 3 ml. polyethylene archival album protective sleeve.  The vinyl has been housed in an anti-static poly-lined inner sleeve, although the original plain white paper inner sleeve is obviously included in the auction.  

To listen to a clear, stereo master board recording of The Beatles performing embryonic as well as nearly finished versions on the songs which, sadly, would end up being their finale to the world, is an experience most Beatles fans have never had.  Side 2 of this title contains unreleased songs which, according to the various data-bases which we needed to access in order to determine what exactly these tracks were, revealed that we were listening to Paul McCartney playing compositions which were intended to be on The Beatles "White Album"!  As noted on the jacket, the 8 tunes on Side 2 feature Paul playing these incredible, never-recorded-before tunes like "Heather", "How Do You Do",  an impromptu run-through of "Blackbird", "The Unicorn", "Lalena", Mr. Wind", "The Walrus And The Carpenter", and "Land Of Gish".  This side credits Donovan Leitch, Mary Hopkins, and Linda as well as Heather Eastman, as co-performers!      

There is no question that an album like this is unique and special to The Beatles and music which will remain immortalized.  We have only seen this exact album one other time, and it was listed at a price of $1000.00 USD!  As fans of The Beatles and our love of sharing what we consider to be an LP which is essential to this band's history and legacy, simply WILL NOT permit us to extort any interested Beatles fanatic in such a manner.  Whilst we are not going to simply give this incredible recording away, we will list it at what we consider to be an extremely fair price and allow the auction market to decide what its value is.

How Your Vinyl Will Be Packed

All LPs won from our eBay listings are first professionally cleaned with our VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine and immediately placed in an anti-static poly-lined Inner Sleeve and/or a polyethylene 3 ml Album Protector prior to being professionally shipped/posted.  All Vinyl is separated from its Album Jacket.  We provide a second polyethylene/Mylar Album Protector for the Album's Jacket, Original Inner Sleeve, and any Inserts, if applicable.  Vinyl is placed between 2 cardboard pads or "stiffeners" and sandwiched between these 2 pads.  The pads and vinyl are appropriately secured and placed inside a NEW, TOP INDUSTRY STANDARD VINYL RECORD MAILER.  The Album's Jacket, already protected with a 3 ml polyethylene/Mylar Protector, is then placed on top of the sandwiched vinyl.  If needed, an additional cardboard insert or plastic "cushioning" is placed on top of the jacket's poly/mylar protector.  Finally, we secure the Vinyl Album Mailer and mark the parcel "Handle with Care" as well as "Fragile" in various spots on the mailer.

We've packed thousands of Vinyl Albums, EPs, Old and Fragile 78 RPM records as well as 7" Singles over the Past 15 years.  Our items have been shipped over the entire planet and we have never had a package arrive to a buyer damaged or had any  parcel end up missing.  Delivery Confirmation is Applied to All Domestic Packages as well as Insurance for value.  At this point in time, we Ship/Post World-wide (Excluding Italy Due To Their Postal System's Failure to Deliver Packages in a  timely rate which is acceptable to eBay)  and We Use Only USPS Express International (Expedited Posting) Mail.  This is the only way a parcel can be Tracked, have Delivery Confirmation Applied to it, and affords us the ability to place Any Amount Of Insurance on the item.
