HERE IS A VERY NICE CAPITOL RECORDS PROMOTIONAL 45 RPM 7-INCH RECORD. And please check out my other auctions for other items you may want.
In this auction:
· “OB-LA-DI, OB-LA-DA” b/w “OB-LA-DI, OB-LA-DA” by The Beatles
· This is Capitol Records P-4347.
· This is a PROMOTIONAL SINGLE with one side in MONO (Monaural) and the other side in STEREO.
· As you may know, 45 RPM PROMO RECORDS were released by record companies ONLY to the radio stations and DJs for airplay to promote the artist or new LP. They were NOT released to, sold to, or made available to the general public.
· This Promo Record was issued in November of 1976.
· This single was issued to promote (or re-promote) “THE BEATLES” LP (aka The White Album).
· Commercial copies of this record (with “Julia” on the B-side) were issued with a PICTURE SLEEVE from 1976 to 1978 that were numbered just like the original copies of The White Album.
· This record comes with the picture sleeve that is numbered 032115.
· This PICTURE SLEEVE is in VG+ CONDITION. There is some writing on one side, very light/slight wear, and a few wrinkles at the top opening.
· The VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS. There is only a light scuff on the “STEREO” side.
· The WHITE LABELS are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears!!!
