This set is number 6436.  I am the original owner.  I bought the set in Washington, DC. in 1982.  Unfortunately I discarded the box several years ago.  I have played about half of the discs.  The other half were played from one to five times, always on an excellent turntable.  The disks have no visible imperfections, and to the best of my knowledge are near mint.  The box has a small tear, shown in the photos.

The collection includes 14 Albums, a 37 page full-color booklet of all the album covers, the Geo-Disc cartridge alignment tool, a Certificate of Limited Warranty (from MFSL) and the quality Collectors case. The 14 albums are as follows:

(13) MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR and

(14) LET IT BE.

MFSL Story:  Purist audiophiles swear by the MFSL LPs, citing a warmer, richer sound more faithful to the original performance.

In September, 1982, MFSL released this deluxe collection after contracting with the Beatles to master the entire album collection in a hand numbered, boxed collection from the master tapes. As a result, this set was perhaps the most notable and superior sounding collection of Beatles recordings ever produced.

The covers of each album show the pictures of the original Master studio tapes that were used to make the half speed master for the LPs. Also shown are the original recording engineer's annotations made during the original sessions. The ones before "Sgt. Pepper" are the United Kingdom versions, after that they were the same on either side of the Atlantic Ocean.
